Where SIHO offices are located, we strive to actively contribute to and support the health, safety and welfare efforts
of our communities. We believe it is essential to stay informed about local issues, trends and needs facing the
communities in which we serve. In an effort to give back, we pursue partnerships that will contribute to the strength
and survival of our communities. Through our partnerships, SIHO forms a network of shared interests contributing to
the growth and vitality necessary for any strong, healthy community’s survival. It is for this reason that the SIHO
Foundation was established in 2000.
Our not-for-profit foundation is another way SIHO is able to contribute positively to the life quality of our communities.
As our Mission Statement states, “The SIHO Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for the residents of the
communities we serve. The Foundation promotes life-long relationships with members of our communities, raises funds and
dedicates its resources to support quality delivery of health care, consumer and provider education and charities that
contribute to a vibrant community life”.
The Foundation considers grant requests from not-for-profit organizations located in our service area which share a
